The National Fire Protection Association has released a new iPhone and Android app “NFPA News.”

The app, which is free to download from iTunes and Google Play, provides the latest news in the fire, electrical and life safety industry and also provides users with breaking news, social media updates and public safety information.

“We created this app as a way to provide useful information and updates that will contribute to fire safety at every level,” said Lorraine Carli, NFPA vice president of Outreach and Advocacy.
