Police Blotter: Debit Cards Stolen, Used at Mohegan Sun

Credit and debit cards were stolen out of a vehicle and later used at several locations.

The Southbury police are investigating the theft of two purses that were taken from a locked GMC Jimmy at the West Purchase boat launch on July 10.

According to police, the incident occurred between the hours of 2:30 – 7 p.m. and access was gained by shattering the passenger rear quarter panel window.

The purses contained personal ID, credit cards, checks, debit cards, cell phones and a digital camera. There were no reported witnesses.

Further investigation revealed the debit cards were used at Dunkin Donuts in Waterbury, Sunoco gas station in Norwich and Mohegan Sun Casino.
