Police Blotter: DUI, Fraudulent Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A fraudulent credit card was opened under a Southbury resident’s name on Tuesday, August 21. The Southbury police are investigating this incident.

Emeal Butler, 37, of Manchester, was charged with DUI and operating with a suspended license after state police observed him driving erratically on I-84 W on Sunday, August 19 at approximately 1:35 a.m.

Butler was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on September 5.
