Police Blotter: Rash of Thefts

Sometime between 8:40 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday, a vehicle was broken into at The Gym at 730 Main Street South. A pocketbook containing cash and credit cards was stolen, police said.

This is the third incident of this kind since Nov. 26, authorities said.

Police advise hiding pocketbooks and other valuables from view and keeping doors locked.
