Police: Threatening, DUI, Probation Violation in Southbury

Motor vehicle accident leads to threatening charges, Southbury man violates probation.

Keith Morrill, 42, of Wallingford, was charged with first-degree threatening, second-degree threatening and breach of peace on August 6 at approximately 9:40 p.m.

According to police, Morrill got into an accident with another vehicle on Interstate 84 west in Southbury. After the accident he allegedly got out of his vehicle and threatened the driver of the other car, telling them he had a gun.

Morrill was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on August 21.

William Tito, 57, of Southbury, was charged with violation of probation on August 7 at approximately 8:59 p.m. at his residence on Roxbury Road.

Tito was released on $25,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on August 21.

Eric Jolly, 23, of Oxford, was charged with DUI and failure to drive to the right on August 11 at 1:37 a.m. after police observed him driving erratically on Main Street South in Southbury.

Jolly was released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on August 21.
