Southbury Man Charged With Risking Injury to Minor, Teen Charged With Harassment

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Marc Barna, 19, of Southbury, was charged with second-degree harassment on Nov. 3 at approximately 4:25 p.m.

According to police, an arrest warrant was issued for Barna after it was reported that he made several harassing calls and sent several harassing text messages to a woman.

Barna was released on $7,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 14.

William Betts, 41, of Southbury, was charged with third-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor on Nov. 4 at approximately 10:23 p.m.

According to police, Betts turned himself in to Southbury PD after learning of a warrant for his arrest and was processed.

Betts was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 5.

Joshua Hubbard, 24, of Southbury, was charged with DWI and failure to drive to the right on Nov. 4 at approximately 2:05 a.m. after police observed him driving erratically on Route 188 in Southbury.

Hubbard was released on 1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 14.
