Jay Foster, 55, of Southbury, was charged with third-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct and Kevin Foster, 20, of Southbury, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident on Nov. 25 at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Both parties were scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 26.

A juvenile was charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia after police observed a suspicious vehicle in the lower parking lot of Pomperaug High School on Nov. 24 at 1:43 a.m.
The juvenile was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court for Juvenile Matters on Dec. 4.
