A Southbury man reported that items were missing from his Jeremy Swamp Rd. residence on Jan. 30 at approximately 7:30 a.m.

Jonathan Poventud, 24, of Waterbury, was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle, operating without insurance, operating without a license and improper use of a license on Jan. 25 at approximately 10:52 p.m. after he was stopped for registration issues on Rt. 6 in Southbury.
Poventud was released on $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 6.
