Southbury Police Make DUI, DWI Arrests

News from the Southbury Police Department.

-On Dec. 13, Southbury Police were notified of an "erratic vehicle" crossing into the wrong lane while traveling on Main St. South, according to the police report. After a sobriety test, Jaimie White, 50, was found to be "more than four times the legal limit," the report said. White was subsequently charged with Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Drive Right, released on a $1000 non-surety bond, and will appear in Waterbury Superior Court on January 8, 2014.

-On Dec. 14, Heraldovan Damacena was charged with DWI and Failure to Drive Right after Officer Kevin Burns noticed Damacena's vehicle "weaving and straddling the centerline" on Route 188, according to the police report. Damacena will appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 27.
