Immunization Clinic

The following adult vaccines will be offered on a low-cost basis: pneumococcal; tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough); measles, mumps and rubella (MMR); human papillomavirus; shingles, hepatitis A; hepatitis B; varicella (chickenpox); and meningococcal. The Pomperaug Health District will also offer vaccinations for children. The following school-required vaccinations will be offered: varicella (chickenpox), hepatitis B; tetanus; MMR; tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis; Hib; polio; and meningococcal. Children can be vaccinated during the regularly scheduled Vaccination Clinics (every Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:00 PM). Appointments are required for the weekly clinic; call 203-264-9616, ext. 0. Residents of the Pomperaug Health District Towns can obtain these childhood vaccinations for a nominal administration fee of $15 each. Non-residents will be charged $20 per vaccine. The Health District may waive or reduce the fee for hardship cases.
