Southbury Inland Wetlands Commission Approvals

Two applications were approved by the wetlands panel.

The Southbury Inland Wetlands Commission took the following actions at its regular meeting on July 8, 2014 at Southbury Town Hall, according to the town's website. 

Having considered the factors and circumstances set forth in Section 7.5 of the regulations and having reviewed all information and reports received by the commission regarding these applications the following applications were approved.

Application #1569 Settlers Park; Crook Horn Road; Thomas Burns, applicant; approval consists of installation of stone steps to an existing earthen pathway to the Pomperaug River and removal of large invasive plants within a portion of the town park adjacent to the river, with conditions.

Application #1570 Heritage Center; 466 Heritage Road; Heritage Development Group, Inc., applicant; approval consists of developmental activities remaining to be constructed, namely buildings C, D and E as all regulated activities consisting of construction of detention and drainage structures are complete and there is no proposed activity within any upland review area, with conditions.
