Southbury Residents to Receive Property Revaluation Letters

Letters will be sent by Vision Government Solutions, a company hired by the town to conduct the 2012 reevaluation.

The Town of Southbury will be mailing assessment change notices to all property owners during the week of Dec. 3 as a part of the state mandated 2012 Real Estate Revaluation.

As part of the revaluation process, property owners may make an appointment to discuss their new assessment with a representative of Vision Government Solutions, the company hired by the town to conduct the 2012 revaluation. Detailed information on how to schedule these meetings is contained in the letter each property owner will receive, according to the town.

Also included in the letter is information on accessing Vision Government Solutions’ website to view your individual assessment data as well as information regarding the revaluation process.
