Southbury Town Offices on Summer Schedule Starting in July

Some town offices and public buildings will be on summer hours starting July 7.

Southbury will be on summer hours starting July 7, with an altered schedule for most of the town’s public buildings.

Town Hall offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday; and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday. The Probate Court and the Registrars’ Office will maintain their usual hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Senior Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

Parks and Recreation Offices will maintain their regular work hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday) until the end of summer camp, Aug. 8. After Aug. 8, they will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

The Highway Department and Public Works office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

The Library will maintain their usual hours — Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, the Library will be closed Sundays during July and August.

Summer hours will end the last day of August.
