Michael Bernardi has been named the next principal of Rochambeau Middle School. Mr. Bernardi is presently serving as a middle school assistant principal in Weston, CT. He comes to Region 15 with a host of rich instructional experiences as well as stellar recommendations from his colleagues in Weston.
Mr. Bernardi holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Connecticut, a Master's in Education and a Sixth Year Degree in Educational Administration also from the University of Connecticut. Prior to his position in Weston, he was social studies teacher and department leader in Ridgefield, CT.
Mr. Bernardi expressed knowledge of the great work RMS is doing on behalf of adolescent learners and the many opportunities Region 15 will present him to grow and lead. He is anxious to work alongside the RMS staff. Opportunities to introduce Mr. Bernardi to the staff, students, and parents will be available in the coming weeks.
