Beginner's Meditation in Chairs

I'll be leading a free Meditation Group at the Southbury Public Library for teens and adults on the following dates:

 

October 16                   Tuesday Evening  6:30 to 7:45      meeting in 'Kingsley A'

November 13            Tuesday Evening  6:30 to 7:45      meeting in 'Kingsley A'

 

We sit tall on regular chairs and experience the power of breathing to lift our spirits or calm are worries.  Although it's possible to teach yourself at home with a book

(Here's the book I used.)

it's easier and requires less discipline to learn in a group.
