When and how did your business get started?

In 1984, Roy Rogan opened up a bike shop in Southbury after owning one during the 70's. He moved to Playhouse Corner in 1989.

Why did you choose to start your business in Southbury?

It was a small quiet town that was growing, and Roy used to visit friends in Southbury.

What is your business best known for?

Exceptional personal service for bicycle sales and repairs. All makes and models are serviceable. We have everything from kids' bikes to pro-level triathlon and road bikes, with all the accessories to go along with them.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

During spring, summer and fall we hold several weekly group rides. Monday evenings we have a mountain ride, and Wednesday evenings we hold a road ride.

Does your business offer any special deals?

Group ride members get 10% off at the shop.
