When and how did your business get started?
USALED began its operations in 2007 as a division of Tiger Technologies LLC. The parent company has been engaged in the bare printed circuit board business since 2000. The parent company desired to identify new technologies to market. Thus we have been engage in promoting our USALED brand of LED energy efficient lighting to commercial business as a replacement for the older incandescent and fluorescent technologies.
Why did you choose to start your business in Southbury?
The President resides in Southbury and desired to locate operations close to home. Our clients are located in NYC, NJ, CT, and MA. Southbury is a central location to all these local markets.
What is your business best known for?
USALED provides energy saving LED lighting solutions to commercial customers. Most recently USALED installed LED street lights throughout Heritage Village as well as provided a full lighting upgrade to the Middlebury Public Library during their recent renovations. The Nardelli's Sandwich shop on Main street in Southbury has enjoyed the energy saving benefits of the USA LED for over 3 years.
What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
USA LED lighting solutions can save commercial customers 50 - 80% of their lighting energy by retrofitting to new USA LED Lights. The energy savings typically pays for the investment in 2-3 years! The USA LED lights can last for over 10 years operating 12 hours per day.
