Annual Fall Classic 10K Race, Kids Run, Wellness Fair

Southbury Business Association hosts the town's 21st Annual Fall Classic event Sunday, Sept. 19, at Community House Park, located Route 67 in Southbury, one half mile south of I-85 at exit 15. The event includes a certified 10K race, kids fun run and wellness fair.

Representatives from the health, wellness, fitness, natural and organic foods, spa services, environment and safety fields will provide free screenings, evaluations, demonstrations, information and literature, samples and giveaways, and much more.

The 10K Race registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the race at 10, rain or shine. Kids Fun Run registration begins at 10 and the race at 11. The wellness fair takes place 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The fee is $20 for pre-registration and $25 to register on race day. The deadline for pre-registration is Thursday, Sept. 16. Free T-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registrants in the 10K race only. Kids Fun Run registration $5. Register here.

Proceeds will continue to benefit the Southbury Business Association's scholarship fund for graduating Pomperaug High School Students, and a health-related program in Southbury to be named soon.
