PHS Boy’s Soccer Finishes Top 10 in Final National Poll

After an undefeated season and a Class ‘LL’ state championship the Pomperaug boy’s soccer team have closed the season as one of the top ten teams in the country.

According to the latest and final NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) poll released Tuesday the Panthers are the #7 ranked team in the nation after an unbeaten 19-0-1 season.

The Panthers finish the season as the top team in Connecticut as well as the top team in New England behind their 2-1 state championship victory over Trumbull last week.
