Pomperaug Girls' Soccer Wins Nutmeg State Games

Local girls go undefeated while capturing U-18 crown.

A summer soccer team composed of Pomperaug High School girls' soccer players won the gold medal in the Nutmeg State Games U-18 division on Sunday, July 29. 

The Pomperaug team defeated East Hampton, Derby, New Milford and the New England Comets to go undefeated while only giving up one goal.
