The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Northern New Haven County, effective Sunday evening through Monday morning at 10 a.m.
Snow is expected overnight and will change to a mix of sleet and freezing rain early Monday morning. As temperatures rise during the day on Monday, the precipitation will change over to rain.
Total accumulation from this storm is expected to be 1 inch or less, but travel conditions could be hazardous overnight Sunday and into the Monday morning commute.
