<p>Kettletown is a 650 acre State park which used to be home to the Pootatuck Indians. The park which occupies land in both Southbury and Oxford borders Lake Zoar and the Housatonic River watershed. The state of Connecticut bought the land in 1950 and converted it to a park. The park offers a variety of activities including camping, fishing, hiking, swimming and picnicing.</p>
