The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 262 Main Street North,Ssouthbury, Ct., has been led by TheRead More Rev. Marston Price since January 1, 2012. We have a web site at www;epiphanysouthbury.org, and can be found on Facebook under Church of the Epiphany, Southbury, Ct. We are a small traditional Episcopal church with services at 8 am and 10 am each Sunday. the first service is with out music and the second has the added service music and hymns. Between services there is a discussion group about the lessons of the day, During Lent we are studying the Last Words with a discussion group. We welcome all to our services from infants to those in their 90's and even 100+. Our outreach includes sandwich making once a month for the feeding program at St. John's Church in Waterbury, Ct. We make 300+ on the third Wednesday of the month and will always welcome volunteers to make the lunch, donations of peanut butter and jam, bread, and bologna and cheese. In fact, we collect the grocery receipts from Labonne's grocery store to help offset the expense. We also participate in the Southbury Food Bank Adopt a Shelf program and we collect bread mixes. In addition we sponsor the Upper Room Thrift Shop which is on the second floor of the parish building. We accept gently used clothing for all, books, household items, jewelry and other small items. We can not accept used computer equipment , used electronics, or gym items. Small tables, lamps, pictures, etc. are also welcome. Our profits are donated to those in Southbury, the State, the Country and the World. Our hours are Tuesday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. Please consider attending one of our services at the little, stone church on the hill. We would love to see you.
