A witness says there is a strong police presence at the Southbury store.
The Southbury Kmart has been evacuated due to a reported bomb threat.
A witness, Jessica Saren, reports in a post on Patch that there is a "strong police presence and the building is taped off."
Reports of the bomb threat and subsequent evacuation came through at about 6 p.m. Southbury Police were not immediately available for comment.
